David Young

David Young practices at the Law Offices of David Young in Los Angeles ^[1]. He was admitted to the State Bar of California on April 30, 1973, and holds an active license ^[1]. A business lawyer with decades of transactional and litigation experience, he is also admitted in New York, Alaska, and Rhode Island, and before various federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States.

Earlier in his career, Young served as law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alaska and as an Assistant Attorney General of Alaska. He was a member of the legal team involved in the structuring, financing, and litigation that preceded construction of the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline, and he has handled complex litigation against state and federal governments and agencies involving natural resources, environmental issues, and constitutional questions. His firm serves clients in California and other states and also takes on international matters.

Young is a graduate of Harvard College and Cornell Law School ^[1].
