Lawrence Irving Stern

Lawrence Irving Stern was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1974 and holds an active license (bar #62903); his State Bar record lists him as a certified specialist in Workers' Compensation Law and notes that he speaks Hebrew and Spanish ^[1]. He practices with Mallery & Stern in Los Angeles, a firm that has represented injured California workers since 1976 and maintains a second office in Rancho Cucamonga serving Inland Empire clients ^[2]. The firm's caseload centers on work injuries, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes, and much of its client base consists of police officers, highway patrol officers, correctional and parole agents, and other fire and safety personnel. Stern has held his board certification in workers' compensation for more than 30 years, and he served as a president and long-time board member of the California Applicant Attorneys Association between 1990 and 2019. He is also licensed in Nevada, where he was admitted in 1987. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles ^[1], an M.S. from the University of Southern California in 1970, and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1968.
