Sharon Abaud

Sharon Abaud was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 2, 2014, and her license is active ^[1]. She is the founding attorney of The Law Office of Sharon Abaud, APC ^[3], located on Arlington Avenue in Torrance, and her self-reported practice area with the State Bar is immigration ^[1]. Both she and her staff speak Spanish ^[1].

Abaud's firm concentrates on family-based immigration, including family petitions, VAWA cases, U visas for crime victims, work permits and advance parole, citizenship, and immigration waivers ^[2]. The firm reports more than ten years of experience helping families pursue residency and work authorization, serves Spanish-speaking clients throughout the Los Angeles area, and publishes plain-language immigration information for the Latino community through Abaud's YouTube channel ^[2].

Abaud earned a Bachelor of Arts in international studies with a minor in French from California State University, Long Beach, and received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles ^[1], where she completed a concentration in immigrant advocacy. The daughter of immigrants from Santiago, Chile, who became lawful permanent residents and later U.S. citizens, she is fluent in Spanish and is personally involved in her clients' cases at every stage.
